Intro

BKNR ist an exhibition initiative situated in a former bunker in Munich. It hosts events at the interface of architecture, art and design - always questioning the definitions and functionalities of common exhibition modes.

Relaunch of the whole corporate indentity for the cultural platform including a name change and positioning this outstanding space as a third place.

Idea

The modern visual language is abstracted to the maximum. Black and white dominates the design while playful elements – derived from the logo – are scattered almost randomly. The strong typography communicates the demand for a sophisticated and unique position.

Result

The new identity is strong - but never competes with the artwork in the exhibition space. Clear shapes, floating elements and a simple color code form a unique and recognizable design.
